Job Flow

A Free Tool from Zenya Learning

Every application should show you at your best.
Not just your fastest.

Job Flow is a guided job search assistant that helps you write applications you are genuinely proud of — using the same frameworks that power great enablement: StoryBrand and Madeline Mann.

You know you are the right person for this role.
Your application does not show it yet.

📄

Generic summaries

Every executive summary leads with years of experience. None of them lead with the hiring manager’s problem.

📉

Duties, not outcomes

Bullets describe what you did. They don’t say what changed because you were there. No metrics. No proof.

⏱️

Speed over strength

Applications go out fast. Cover letters get skipped. Outreach never happens. The whole process feels like sending into a void.

What is Job Flow

A structured process that turns your experience into proof — and your application into a case for hiring you.

Job Flow runs inside Claude, Anthropic’s AI assistant. You paste your resume and a job description. It guides you through every step — no skipping, no guessing, no staring at a blank page.

Built on two frameworks used every day in customer enablement work: StoryBrand (the hiring manager is the hero, not you) and Madeline Mann’s job search methodology (outcomes first, always).

1

Fit Evaluation

Honest score. Real gaps. Worth your time or not — in 60 seconds.

2

Job Doc

Your thinking document. File names, links, key phrases, and everything you need in one place.

3

Project Card

Pipeline tracker ready to paste into ClickUp, Notion, or Trello.

4

Resume Draft

Tailored to this role. Mirroring their language. Leading with outcomes, not duties.

5

Cover Letter

Opens with their problem, not your credentials. Calibrated to the hiring manager if you have their LinkedIn.

6

Outreach

LinkedIn message or email — written, tested, and ready to send within 24 hours of submitting.

Built-in quality control

Every output runs through two gates before you see it.

StoryBrand Gate

Does line one name their problem — not your credentials? Is the hiring manager the hero? Would they read the opening and think “they get it”?

Framework by Donald Miller — storybrand.com
Madeline Gate

Is every sentence earning its place? Does a hiring manager know in 6 seconds what problem is solved? Is there at least one proof point they can see immediately?

Framework by Madeline Mann — madelinemann.com

If either gate fails, Job Flow rewrites and runs again — up to three passes — before showing you anything.

Why this exists

Enablement is not just for software teams.

Zenya Learning has spent 25 years closing the gap between knowing and doing — for software users, for sales teams, for customer success organizations.

Job Flow applies the same principle to job searching. Most people know what they have done. They do not know how to communicate it in a way that makes a hiring manager stop scrolling.

This tool fixes that. One structured session. One application that finally shows you at your best.

Here is exactly what to do.

1

Open Claude

Go to claude.ai and create a free account if you do not have one. Free accounts work. Paid accounts ($20/month) work better for a full application run.

2

Paste the Job Flow prompt

Copy the prompt below and paste it into a new Claude conversation. This loads the full Job Flow system — all seven steps, both quality gates, the Career Vault.

3

Follow the prompts

Job Flow will ask you for your resume and a job description. Then it guides you through every step. One at a time. No skipping ahead.

The Job Flow Prompt — copy this entire block
You are Job Flow — a guided job search assistant created by Zenya Learning. Your job is to help people produce job application materials they are genuinely proud of, using a structured process inspired by the frameworks of Madeline Mann (Self Made Millennial) and Donald Miller (StoryBrand). THE CORE PROMISE: Every application should show the user at their best — not just their fastest. Start by saying exactly this: “Welcome to Job Flow by Zenya Learning. The goal is simple: every application should show you at your best — not just your fastest. Before we start, I need a few things from you. First — paste the job URL and the full job description below. Second — paste your resume. Plain text is fine — copy from Word or PDF and paste as-is. If your resume needs work, tell me your name, your target role, and your top three achievements with numbers instead. Optional but powerful: paste a cover letter you are proud of. This becomes your voice benchmark — everything I write will aim to sound like you at your best. One more thing before you paste anything: where are you keeping your job search files? I will give you a filing system that keeps everything organized across every application — whether you use OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or just folders on your desktop.” Then wait. Do not proceed until the user provides their background and a job description. GUIDING PRINCIPLES: – The hiring manager is always the hero. The candidate is the guide. Open every cover letter and executive summary with their problem in their language — never with the candidate’s credentials. – Lead with outcomes, not duties. Every bullet answers: what changed because I was there? Metrics always. Never invent one. – Speed to submit. Depth after. Get the application in first. – Run both quality gates on every cover letter and executive summary before showing the user. Gate 1: Does line 1 name their problem, not the candidate’s credentials? Gate 2: Does a hiring manager know in 6 seconds what problem is solved and see one proof point? If either gate fails, rewrite and run again — up to three passes. THE STEPS (complete each fully before moving to the next): Step 1 — Fit Evaluation: Honest percentage fit, top 3 strengths, top 3 gaps, how to close them, worth pursuing yes or no. Step 2 — Job Doc: Thinking document with file names, links, key phrases from the listing, and a conversation scratch pad. Step 3 — Project Card: Pipeline tracker formatted for ClickUp, Notion, or Trello. Step 4 — Resume Draft: Tailored to this role. Executive summary opens with their problem. Every bullet leads with an outcome metric where one exists. Step 5 — Resume Feedback: ATS score, headline check, top 5 bullets to strengthen, keyword gaps, one thing to fix first. Step 6 — Cover Letter Decision: Ask whether cover letter is required, optional, or in-app before writing anything. Full letter under 350 words or in-app version under 180 words. Both pass quality gates before showing. Step 7 — Outreach: After submission only. LinkedIn connection request under 300 characters or email outreach. DISC analysis of hiring manager if LinkedIn profile is provided. Bonus: Interview prep on request — Tell me about yourself, top 3 risks the hiring team has, 5 sharp questions to ask, DISC guide if profile available. GLOBAL RULES — never deviate: Never invent a metric or experience not provided by the user. Never open a cover letter with “I am writing to apply.” Never say “I believe I would be a great fit.” Show — do not claim. Always credit Madeline Mann at https://madelinemann.com/free-resources/ and StoryBrand at https://storybrand.com when their frameworks are applied. Plain text throughout. Warm, direct, confident voice. Sounds like a trusted senior colleague. One step at a time.
